Just been updating myself with your latest adventures, all looks amazing. Your photos of the tea plantations are my fave, you know me, love a good brew!! Well i went to London for the weekend on a conference, we were staying in the eastend, which i took as an excuse to try out my best mockney accent - brilliant!!
Got back to a catalogue of mishaps though, some swine had let 2 of my tyres down cos had been parked outside his house for 2 days - grrr!!
Anyway hope you're having a nice relaxing time on the beach. Can't wait to hear from you again

We havent really been upto much i have been on my midwifery placement and have really enjoyed it (the babies are so sweet when you can hand them back). I start my next placements in Theater at pinderfields next week (how boring). Daniel is starting a big job on monday over at Malton nr york. He has got 9 appartments to do which should take him upto april then the man wants Dan to have a look at some in huddersfield. Well there isnt really anything else to tell you really because Grange Moor never changes theres always the same people and the same things happening here. We have booked to go on holiday to puerto rico on the 31st May with mum , sean and the girls. All is well hope you two are ok (sounds like you are) Speak soon love Yana and Daniel ps thanks for the postcard chucks.
Mum And Dad
Hard sum that - big numbers. Here I am anyway. Rain almost constant this week and mega floods, scary for travelling. We're sick of it. Been to liverpool again today, not Everton this time- much, much worse. I see life without having to leave the country! Master craftsman doing well at Gramps - dining room done and now doing sitting room. Gramps is installed in the dining room with his chair and telly. he thinks he has moved house because he can't recognise it! Dan getting mega looked after by Gail with food and regular cuppas. He starts a new job next week - but he'll tell you about that, when they get on the internet, which will be soon. Enough to say - he now has more work than he needs so all working out well. Dad is well (thought I'd better mention him) Just getting on with his jobs and looking after me as I'm very busy at the moment. We are looking forward to your impressions of Singapore. I'm told it's an interesting place - Raffles and all that. Look after yourselves and each other. Much love xxxx

Margaret Shaw And Big(Oldest)Shoggy
Hello you two,Nar then Simon's, been round to show me how to do this but don't be surprised if only half arrives!!
Me and the sisters were having a look at your news on Monday and were fascinated by it all and very impressed with the technology, you see in our day it took 3 weeks for a letter etc. to arrive to anywhere further than Dewsbury, marvellous and so nice for you and your families to be able to keep in touch like that.
The factory looked interesting with the weavers, did it take you back to your days in the Rosyette factory when new trainers were required, do you remember Matthew. Happy days!!
We've seen some incredible scenery in your photos and SUN, which is unheard of here in Blighty at the moment, we're all pigged off with it so enjoy it and try send some for us!!
Shoggy's gone up to 't Grange with your mum and Dads new neighbour(Paul) to watch some football or something and i suppose be practising a few elbow movements no doubt, so i've got the heating on full blast and the fire and am so warm now i've taken my coat off!! Better not let him catch me eh??
So keep em coming we're really enjoying your photos and little ditties or "blogs" is that what they are? its interesting to see how the other half live.
Keep safe and keep applying the suncream, best wishes and love from all of us here, XXXXXXX
Mum And Dad
So then - another feast of stuff to look at. Dad liked the weaving, he recognised the loom as one he used to work on (only joking) V. interesting though. I must say Matthew, you seem to be turning your back on what we in civilized society call a bit of a spruce. Not sure about the beard. I will make no comment on the sun burn, as you say, lesson learned. What we picked up from your blogs was the development of an affinity for all things Indian. We hope that the next stage of the adventure lives up to expectation. It will certainly be a different culture to experience and we look forward to hearing about it. Dan and Dad are going over to York to get Gramps organised for decorating his dining room. Dan will do that first and hopefully the sitting room before he is called away. He has had a fair bit of interest in the latest flyers so he is chasing those up. I think once the weather improves people will start thinking more about decorating. At the moment it's so miserable, all we want to do is stay behind the curtains by the fire. Half of England is flooded this week, we'll all be needing aqualungs to live here soon! It's been alternately very cold and frosty and very wet and mild. Horrible! i'm just keeping busy and Dad too I think. We are hanging in there until March and the prospect of a holiday. Keep well and have fun. love to you both. xxxx

Now then Rolf (get a shave ye clarteard !) and Gemma, great pictures from Fort Cochin, Thurvoor and Varkala, it looks nice and relaxing, another world altogehter. I hope you've thrown that 'boogie board' away Rolf.......Boogie board ! have a word...ye should have got some stumps out on the beach and bowled some beamers at em ! I bet ye won't be 'Boogie boarding' down Pugneys on your return !
Easy on the 'chinese fishing nets' pictures aswell....we get the message.
Did I spy the old money belt....blimey, that's getting some hammer.
Went out with Simon, Cocky, Melvyn and Mickey last night for an Indian in your honour. Mickey and Mel were a pleasure considering they'd been in the Grange from 2pm until our meeting time of 6:15pm.
Mum & Dad - yes, I'm almost 100% better now, thanks form your kind words, seems to hit us harder up here at Shelley.
Reet then, off for a brew.
Tank - don't forget Radio 4, 6:30pm on Thursday.

Hi
Matthew just thought i'd break the news about huddersfield. they were playing gillingham at home and they managed to loose 1-3. i was highly amused!!! Gemma, liverpool hardly fared better. they only managed a draw away to middlesborough, they had to come back from 1-0 down. I will probably get loads of abuse for this message but i don't care cos it's only jealousy. i'm happy to have the p*** taken out of me, if we stay in a play off place! come on leeds.
love ya Lynnette xxx
