Hello
You seem to be having fun in south east Asia I am missing my beer Lao's. We also did a big walk in Cameron Highlands (over 7 hours)and could hardly walk the next day. Good practice for Borneo and after mount Kinabula our legs were fine. Enjoy Vietnam make sure you go to Dalat and go on a Easy Rider trip make sure you get an official rider. We are loving New Zealand at the moment may even come back and stay a year after our travels.

Mum And Dad
Hello you two. Sorry we have been a bit quiet on the message board. It's been a busy fortnight. I have been working my socks off and Dad and Gramdpa have both been poorly. Gramps started being ill a fortnight ago with what turned out to be a really nasty infection. It has taken some shifting but he finally seems to be on the mend again. Don't know how he manages to bounce back sometimes - but he still has the will to keep going. David and Carol came up at the weekend and that helped to cheer Gramps up plus it was nice for us to see them again. Your Dad started with flu on Sunday and he hasn't been at all well and no it's not man flu, it's real! He is picking up now but has had no energy to do much this week. He went with Malcolm to Brum for the Van show as Malc is quite interested in buying one as he is selling up in Reading and has got a bit of your bug I think. We'd quite like it as well if we didn't have so many responsibilities here. Never mind - holidays soon. You will know when because we will go quiet for a week or two.Weather has been funny - we had a hurricanne the other night (yes you read right!) We slept through it, but Barnsley had it bad, structural damage etc. Most of the country was affected in some way or other. We have been having marathon viewing sessions with your photos, they are truely amazing. What a fantastic experience you are having. England will seem dull by comparison I guess. But ... many more adventures to come yet. You both look extremely well and no I'm not worrying at all - the photos are really helping to keep us connected to you. Have fun. Woth love xxxx

Adam - Don't you realise the beard appeared and the cup run started? I for one think young mr pearson will have some tricky questions to answer if Chelsea win tomorrow
Mum And Dad
Hello there, hope you got my text and that you got sorted. Let us know if there is anything we can do to help if a problem. Apparently the last message was a bit depressing? So... we're getting in quick with a cheerful message before next Saturday. (sorry boys it's possible that you might be disappointed, hope not but it's likely) Anyway enjoy your day out. This week has been beautiful so far. temperature today - 17 degrees. Flowers are coming out. We are hoping it's not a bit too soon for our annual Sth of France trip. it's lovely anyway to get up to sunshine. We are also pleased that the red beard has vanished. Your photos are brilliant and give a real sense of the strange and beautiful places you are exploring. We are well and just getting on. Gramps is really on the up and we think some of it is to do with his decorating. Dad has put in new light fittings and we've had a change round just to make it all look a bit different as well as familiar. Chris and Pete are coming over at the weekend. they had their appartment flooded whilst they were in SA on holiday before Christmas and it's taken ages to get it sorted. That's all for now. Take care Much love xxxx

Mum And Dad
Hi there you two! A real feast of photos which we are really enjoying and it's keeping our minds off the sub zero temperatures and the fact that we have to get up tomorrow to travel to Fleetwood of all god forsaken places. I'm doing outdoor play with the great unwashed and I guess the great hung over too as it is a Saturday course and they'll all have been out having a knees up the night before. It's usually a great feat if we get to the end before anyone nods off. But heigh ho that's education! Dad is coming too as he quite likes wandering round Blackpool whilst I'm working but he'll need his long johns on tomorrow! We really sympathise about the mozzies - they drive you mad and are sneaky. I'm always the one they go for but Dad is the one who has to kill them. But 71 bites - that's excessive - poor Gemma. Good job you are both well medicated. I think gemma needs a bravery award - no one would have got me on that bridge. Poor girl - go easy on her. It all looks far too physical to me. No real news - Gramps is ok and staying indoors - it's far too cold for anyone at the moment. Snow almost everywhere except Huddsfield but winds enough to carry us all away and it's going on and on and on. Take care. Much love xxxx
