From Aunty Avis's house we took the Greyhound bus down to Victoria where we took a Killer Whale watching tour out around the island. We saw 2 American Bald Eagles, Seals but no Killer Whales. We can go back anytime for a free trip to make up for it! It snowed when we were on the boat & it was a speed boat, it was soooooooo cold & we got wet from the spray of the sea. I thought my feets & hands were going to fall off & it seemed to take us ages...

We stayed with my Great Aunt for 3 nights and enjoyed 2 roast dinners, fish & chips, apple pie, mince pies & scones and biscuits! We walked down the beach and my cousin (second cousin?!) Maureen took us for a walk with her Alsation Zoe to a pretty forest not too far away. It was very nice to see family, even though we had not met before and really nice to get out of the hotels for a few nights!

We arrived in Vancouver & Mum said to get in touch with Great Aunty Avis who lives on Vancouver Island. So we arrranged to meet her in 3 days time. In the mean time we shopped & went to the cinema in Vancouver. We walked miles! We went to the old hippy area and tried to watch a lazer Led Zeppelin & Pink Floyd show at the Planeterium but it was only on on Friday & Saturday nights. Our ferry to the Nanaimo on Vancouver Island was brand new. ...

Fiji was beautiful but it rained constantly. Not just rained, thunderstormed every day! We spent two days in Nadi (the "mainland") and took a boat to the Yasawa islands in hope that it would be different there. Auckland is a huge city and we didn't have too much time to look around before getting our flight to Fiji. We were really looking forward to getting some sun as New Zealand was pretty chilly, especially sleeping in a van at night!
