We arrived in Vancouver & Mum said to get in touch with Great Aunty Avis who lives on Vancouver Island. So we arrranged to meet her in 3 days time. In the mean time we shopped & went to the cinema in Vancouver. We walked miles! We went to the old hippy area and tried to watch a lazer Led Zeppelin & Pink Floyd show at the Planeterium but it was only on on Friday & Saturday nights.

Our ferry to the Nanaimo on Vancouver Island was brand new. The whole front of the deck had glass windows from floor to ceiling & if you are very lucky you can see killer whales on the crossing ( we weren't lucky!).
