After 19hrs of traveling completly stuffed who knew sitting on your ass on a plane would be so hard, on the 11hr flight to Santiago I managed to get a little sleep towards the end of the flight but only about an hour before I was rudely awakened by our decent, I met the guy sitting next to me on the flight Fred from Kiapoi and chatted away to him for a while about how they were heading over to Argentina to play golden oldies in a tournament so of course most of our convosation consisted of rugby.
When we landed I was expecting more at customs it was so much faster than NZ handing in one peice of paper they stamp it you put ur bags opna convor and the you them up at the other end was easy as.
I decided it would be easier once I arrived just to take a shared shuttle van which would take me straight to the door rather than trying to navigate the metro and buses on my first day which Im glad I did all I had to do was show them the address and they showed me to the shuttle bus, the people that run the hostel are very friendly and I look forward to getting to know them some more over the next few days in Santiago.
I really need to sleep but I know I need to ajust my body clock so I'll have to hold out just a little longer...
