... I think that must have been the worst nights sleep since I've been in Thailand! The animals were driving me mad, (except the gecko's, they make the coolest noise!). The beds didn't help, they were pretty uncomfortable. Once everyone had got up in the morning, we had a really nice breakfast that was cooked by one of the locals, all the food on the tour has been Amazing. Before we left the village all the local women set up stalls to sell their stuff, before we left, I got a few bits - to help the locals.
Our packs went back on, and we had our day of trekking ahead of us. it was only 9 o'clock, and it was already bloody hot, and as soon as we had started walking the sweat started to run!
I can honestly say, I don't think I have ever sweated so much in my life, I went all day drinking 5 litres of water, and piss twice a day! Our walk to begin with was not to bad, until we got to the bottom of a mountain, the guides told us.... I think we must have walked up hill for at least 80 minutes, just proves. That I'm so unfit... But i managed to do it...! When we got to the top, it was the best view of the Jungle! Plus their was a really cool breeze on the top.
We then climbed down the other side. It was a lot easier, and we were making good time.! My camel toes, have done me proud! Ha ha..!
Next stop was lunch, then for the elephant ride, and it was the best 200Baht I have ever spent. It wasn't the most comfortable ride in the world, and me and Scotty just couldn't stop laughing..! Mo & Brad, got soaked by their elephant! I've never been so close to an elephant, and one had the horn...! It looked like a 5th leg!
We continued on our walk for about an hour, another Village, this one was a lot bigger, and the accommodation was nicer! Once i'd had a shower, and felt clean for about 20 minutes before starting to sweat again! Helped with dinner, and was rolling spring rolls! I'm looking forward to making then when I bet back home, people might like them better than my casserole.!!
Yet again dinner was amazing, and the evening entertainment was planned. The local children came and preformed for us... It was really good, and we meet a mutant child! Lol - she was a young Thai girl, that was an albino! Ha ha. After we watched them, it was our turn to preform...! We ended up doing Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes. (Very educational!). And we has a dance, played loads of games, limbo, all around the camp fire! it was my favourite night of Thailand so far! (Got loads of new drinking games for when I get back to the UK!) Crashed out in bed!
