Happy New Year, hope you all had a great night and not to much damage was caused by potato throwing. We all saw in the New Year in Portimao, Portugal. Portimao is a coastal town about 2hours 30min from Seville. We took part in an old Spainish custom where you have to eat 12 grapes in 12 seconds when its midnight. Apparently this will bring us good luck for the year. The weather has been fantastic in Portugal, sunshine and about 21 degrees. We spent both days at the beach. Some what different looking that Tuross. Crystal clear waters of the Atlantic, sandy beaches flanked by amazing cliffs. The walk along the headland was fantastic. Graeme cooked us a great seafood meal on New Years Eve. Anyway we are not long home, the kids are getting ready for bed. Jacqui is in the shower so it my first go and keeping you updated. This is all a bit to high tech for me. Well must be off to bed, never had so many late nights in my life. You eat late and go to bed late. It was a 2.30am finish on New Years Eve.
