Our last night in Singapore, enjoying the Chinese New Year festivites.

Our final night on our fantastic trip and we decided to head to Chinatown and enjoy the celebrations for Chinese New Year. We dressed up in our last lot of clean clothes and headed in on the Metro with most of the population of singapore. There were thousands of people being herded in groups up the escalators into Pagoda Street as there were literally too many people to fit all at once! Our last day in singapore and we headed out to the Zoo on the Metro. It took an hour and half to get there via 2 trains and a taxi, so it must be right on the other side of the country!! The zoo, like everywhere else in this country is beautifully maintained and very well organised. We saw monkeys, orangutans, apes, lions, white tigers, panthers, warthogs, hipps, rhinos...the list goes on. Josie had the chance to feed the giraffes and she loved it...the long gre...

Today I picked a little local foot spa and went in to have 1 hour reflexology massage and calf massage and a 30 shoulder, neck and head massage. Well it was tougher than I am used to and I had to tell the girl a couple of times , with my face scrunched up accordingly "pain"; so she held back a tad. Those deep tissue massages are certainly an experience. I looked like I had been through the wringer when they were finished, but back felt great the next day. Calves ...
