Bus Magome- first samurai town on the nakasenho route (one of two roads connecting edo and Kyoto back in the day). Views amazing up mountain, town cute. Start trek, luckily no bears encountered. Tools maybe 2 hours- not too challenging. Arrived in tsumago but about 2.30, explored cute samurai town, purchased purse for Elle. Train home- met cute nerdy family. Get to hostel- Indian wanted to go to has no vegetarian. What a fiasco. Instead go to naepolease- naan too good! Last night in home stay tonight- annoying Israeli boy Shaun in our dorm.
