Hungover +++, made it to narita for 8.30 by train. Got hangover food then hit plane. Got to Beijing via Shang by 6pm?? At hostel by 8- dead to world. Staying at peaking park hostel which is cute. Internet all censored! Went for Chinese family style meal- so much food and it only cost 10£!

Woke up late,got ready and clothes washed. Headed to Tokyo some city for bubba gump drinks and tgi drinks. Merch acquired, t-swift watched, girl crush developed! Such a good show, lots of photos with Japanese kids occurred, we then returned to tapas bar in Shibuya- no tables so had to eat outside where some breakdancing stripped a forced their company on us.we were then dragged to karaoke against our will, but enjoyed it very much until Nathen Mcvittie look alike...

Last night at wierd Nikko lodge with onsen type bathroom- accidentally took shower with bridge. Train to Tokyo uneventful, ditched stuff at k's house hostel. Met Kai- charming hostel employee. Out to shinjuku followed by shibuya for drinks +++. Then located Greek restaurant called ???- good food but too much consumed!

Left Matsumoto via train and got to Tokyo hostel (oak hostel zen) for about 2.30- close to yamanote line and better than prev hostels. Left for cat temple (Gotoku-ji). Quote temple! No tourists and lots of waving cats! Took photos for live and Dave, chatted to a local and left for devilcraft pizza!

Met James Hernan at kizumiza-dera temple. Went to magic fountains behind. Onto the philosophers path via silver pavilion by bus. Hernan teaches a lot about Japan. Philosophers path was long with 2-3 temples along- favourite was Nansen-Ji. all temples now closed so headed for dinner at japanese tapas bar. Son and Hernan ate excessive amounts of sushimi.
