Rome to Florence :)
Before we arrived in Florence we went to a vineyard for some wine tasting. For those that know me, I'm a beer girl and I don't do wine. Staying true to my quote ('I only drink wine if it's free'), I tasted the wine. For those that know me even better, they know I stay away from red wine and only drink white, but today I tried them all!
Surprisingly, the red I first tried (my glass and another glass I stole from someone), was actually nice. After the red we tried some white, another red and then some dessert wine. Pretty much I'm happy that I drank all that wine, even though it didn't taste very good, it was free so enough said.

After wine tasting we continued to Florence :) We went into the city centre, via the church and had some dinner. We had more pasta and gelati (I was in Italy so I should expect that).
After dinner we went to a pub and drank some giant cocktails and I may have sang some karaoke ( I feel sorry for whoever had to listen to me song, not once, but twice!).

After karaoke we went to space where I decided it would be better to go home. Once back at the hotel I spent hours just chatting to the other contiki people and just chilling (I did drink quite a lot of cocktails!).

So Florence night one was fun, I can't wait for night two!
