Next up was Ko Phangan which is a really beautiful island! We had prebooked a 3 night stay at Utopia resort at the North and when we got there discovered we had been upgraded to a 50 quid a night room!!!!!!with a bath tub!!!! ammaaazing views of the sea an amazing balcony brilliant tv fridge and huugee bed. The most extravagant 3 days we have had! so much so it was a struggle to even leave it for one night to go to the Full Moon Party. The Full Moon is pretty much what you would expect, it feels like a Uni night out but everyone is wearing bikinis and your on the beach and theres a lot of fire twirling/fire works etc etc. Not as amaze as I thought..but you have to go really dont you! The nearest beach is Mae Haad which is famous for snokelling. Damien went in for a couple of hours and went over the this tiny island just close to the beach and said it was his best moment of the holiday!!!Damien also learnt to ride a moped whilst we were here...quite scary for me because I was on the back clignign on for dear life. We had a few hairy moments but we're both alive and doing better than alot of other people who seemed to be bandaged everywhere. Bike accidenbts were most common but also ankle burns from jumping over the fire skipping rope at the full moon...don't do it.
After Utopia we went to Sarikantang which is a looovely resort on the southern busier bit of the island. It's a really beautiful place with its own private beach and only 5 minutes walk into town so we had another nice few days there!!We didn't really do anything cool I can tell you about..just sunbathed and swam a bit...
Ummmm that's all for Ko Phangan then we headed to Ko Tao for diivvving
