Helooo we're actually in Ko Samui now but we haven't been on for agggeees so thought a quick update on Bangkok was needed! We had read bad things about Bangkok being noisy and smelly and crowded etc etc but we looveeee Bangkok. It is such a fun place, looads to do and cheap, especially comp-ared to the islands.

We spent a daya t Dusit zoo in Bangkok which was nice but horrible. Don't go and see the acrobatics and elephant show!! the elephant show is the saddest thing I have ever seen in my life, a mummy, daddy and baby elephant are in a small pen all day chained to the ground and every hour they come in to do tricks, walking on back legs etc etc and they're sent back to the pen. All the Thai people seemed to be loving it tho, even Damien was waving at the elephants non stop..

The other animals are in tiny cages so you get to see them all really clearly but they don't look happy!

We've alsop had a p[edicure by putting our feet into a big fish tank and tiny fish nibbling off the dead skin! Very tickly but our feet are looking lovely now!

I can't really remember what else we did but basically Bangkok is great and everyone sho0uld go, we can't wait to get back there!
