Today was the day to either get serious or whimp out. The easy choice was to take the ferry to the island of Kalsoy to see the statue of the seal woman. But, I didn't get rolling fast enough to drive to Klaksvik to catch the 8am ferry. The 10am would work, but the I'd spend most of the day on Kalsoy since the return is pretty late. I forgot to throw this one in, from the island of Kunoy. I had to navigate one more tunnel to get here, but the sun and view were worth it! On the tunnel getting here I thunk hard and counted the seconds between tunnel pullouts. 9 seconds at 60 kph. 14 or 15 pullouts. That helped me on the return trek as I was better able to gauge salvation before an accident. Cut one pretty close, though.

This is one view while I was driving into my apartment. Sorta why i like traveling in August....no wildfire smoke. I like clouds better. And, it's 60 degrees!
