Up at 5 today for a slow and relaxing start to the day. I found the Faroese equivalent of granola, which seems to be teasing my palette better than the common, and bland, muesli. The clothes were almost dried hanging outside, but a lite mist forced me to hang them by the radiator for a bit. Shoes were still not dry. Back to my wonderful apartment and baked up some of the fresh cod Frodi left with me. Served with a side of basmati and steamed carrots. Restaurants here are expensive. Main entrees in Torshavn were +330kr ($60) with beverages and other stuff extra. I shopped around and got a week of odd looking food for the price of one entree. Back at the car, I heard a strange noise and glanced up to find a 'lawnba' aimlessly wandering about the yard in search of that one piece of grass that dared to reach its blade for that something in the sky that it might have mistaken for sunshine. On the return trek the clouds opened a smidgen to give a better view of the Syðrugøta fjord, fish farms, processing plant and town.
