Wow we are loving Sydney!!

The time has gone sooo fast, and we are not too sure what we have enven been doing! :) Very quickly we settled in and got to know our way around the busy streets. Met up with my sister, caroline, and had such a long catch up that she had a headache from talking too much. Sounds about right! :)

Since then we have been exploring the city, in the beautiful sunshine. The weather has been great too. One of our favourite days has to bee Christmas day 2008...one to remember! Forst off we were not too sure about the plans for the bondi festical, it was in the pavillion and not on the beach, so not too happy. But once we were inside, and enjoying happy hour (happy 2 hour) everything was awesome! Drinks were slipping down way too quick and the sun was blazing. It was like a mini festival. All the travellers in their santa hats, having the time of their lives. At one point, Paul and I took a moment to look around and take everything in, it was such a cool christmas day. Certainly different!

There was great djs and live music towards the end. That was when we got up the front of the stage with Jemma and Katie to get really involved! We must say though that we really really missed our mums christmas dinner. We got plonked on a plate a slimy cold chicked with a bread roll...not impressed!

After recovering from christmas day, boxing day was spent at my sisters friends apartment over at Darling Harbour. Sun shining over their pool with the food cooking on the bbq. Again, what a surreal boxing day. I could not imagine it being cold at home :)

Since all of the christmas festivities, we have been exploring the city, picnics in botanical gardens with friends, walking around the oprah house...

Then it was time for New years eve. My money has run out on the internet so I will be back to carry on later. Bye
