We are close to finishing our time in Vietnam and have had a great time. We started up in the north in Hanoi. It was our first experience of the cold in a very long time and we did not like it. Hello everyone :) We are now in Vietnam but first I will just say a little bit about Laos... We left my dad at the boarder and got a coach over friendship bridge. In savannakhet it was one word...BAKING!!! We felt like we were in the desert. any movement resulted in a sweat and we had no energy at all. There is not much to do there either, so we chilled out in our guest house and played cards in cafes. Poor and homeless children would beg as we ate our pancakes...

The flight was terrible to Bangkok...terrible turbulance for all nine hours of the flight. While waiting in sydney we saw tony Blair...our claim to fame on this trip.
