After a very long bum-numbing journey we reached chiang mai and had a nice evening before our saturdays adventure. We organised a day trip to go elephant riding and bamboo riding.... our guide was quite the character!! We arrived at the camp and watched an elephant show before our hour and a half trek through the jungle on the back of an elephant!! after our ride we went bamboo rafting down the river which was very relaxing and were then taken by ox cart to our buffet lunch!! On our way back we stopped by an orchid and butterfly farm which was interesting......??! but all in all a very good day!! we went to the night bizarre in the evening and bought some more things for our teachers with very successful haggling!! on sunday we had a relaxing day where susie bumped into hunter and then headed back to mae salak in the evening!!
