We had to stop over for the night in Lake Hawea because it got dark before we had reached Wanaka/ a campsite for the night! We were also very low on petrol (schoolboy error!) so we pulled up outside a pub and told them our situation and the nice lady said we could park round the back free of charge so thats what we did. Cold, but free! Next day we literally rolled down the hill to the petrol station then it was off to Wanaka!

Wanakas lovely, fairly small but big enough town. Huge Lake Wanaka in the middle. This was the destination for our skydive!! Was cloudy when we arrived but we registered at the skydive centre so they knew we wanted to do one as soon as the weather improved. We waited that day the one and a half more, ringing the lady every few hrs! When she finally said we could do it i was like what!

I know ive used this word a lot but this was amazing!! we were in a little plane on our own which was really cool, it meant we could jump in each others dvds without any randomers doing it too! Anyway is a feeling you cant describe... i went to scream but its really not scary! Dont get me wrong when were sitting on the edge of the plane i was sh*****ng myself but because youre attached to the guy you obviously have no choice and not really anytime to think about what youre doing! And once youve fallen, you dont feel like youre going that fast.. its awesome. I was on quite a bit of a buzz afterwards so we went out for a pint and some cheeky dinner, i had the best fish and chips!
