Hey! Yes i know im not in New Zealand but just imagine!

So i arrived from Melbourne (having spend two nights there) at 11.30 pm on 21st... Al was there waiting for me, SO exciting!! Was rather weird meeting each other in NZ of all places!

Picked our campervan up the next day, had to dig the jeans and hoodie out of my bag first! Tad chillsome! We ended up with a bigger van than wed actually booked which im glad we did, mainly because it was getting cold. The bigger one gave us more space in the van (ie you could stand up instead of having no choice but to lie down!) it was really cool and we were so excited to get going!

We started off my going from Christchurch to Hanmder Springs for the night then headed to Kaikoura. Kaikoura is a nice little town, known for whale watching, which we couldnt do because it was windy and rainy.. we enjoyed our time though and had some delicious fish and chips... we spent the night in a car park of an irish pub which was fun and free! Spent the night chatting to the owner which we didnt mind as there seemed to be free flowing Sauv Blanc!

Next we were heading up to Picton...
