This morning we got up and dressed and said goodbye to Lucy and the kids and our Australian home for the last few days and started our journey to Cairns. Wow what a day! The day started with an earlyish get up so we could drive to Cairns to catch our ferry to Fitzroy Island. The drive took just under 2 hours but the roads are so easy to drive here it was a pretty easy journey.
