Today we had a lie in! Woohoo! Then we drove to the Maligne Canyon where we took a little stroll to the Fifth Bridge and as usual we chatted and admired the views along the way. Once we reached Fifth Bridge we decided to continue on to the Sixth Bridge which was quite adventurous as we had to cross a stream and a very muddy puddle.
When we reached the Sixth Bridge we got in the van and drove to Mount Robson crossing the border from Alberta to British Columbia and jumped back an hour as we did.
Our first stop was Mount Robson visitor centre where we saw Mount Robson the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. We then went to the visitor centre to see how we compared to a moose - I was the size of a 6 month old moose (not sure if this is a good or a bad thing). From here we visited the gift shop and made a couple of purchases (still no hoodie - go me!). We then stopped at the Mt Terry Fox park for lunch and a spot of frisbee playing.
After lunch we drove to Blue River and hopped on a river Safari on the hunt for more bears. We were really lucky and saw an osprey, a beaver and a bear. We then went up and saw a waterfall and then Jas expertly drove us back to the base.
After the Safari we checked into our hotel, a fab cabin with a lounge and kitchen. Once we had checked in we went for a walk round the lake and had a really lovely social BBQ in our cabin. After dinner Jas, Leah and I went on an evening bear hunt although we didn't find any (I'm not sure if I was pleased or not about this)!
After this we chatted a bit more before heading to bed.
