So it's my last day in Alaska. I got up and breakfasted after a little relax and lie in and then loaded my bag on the van one last time.

We then set off to Anchorage, saying goodbye to Denali! We stopped on the way at the Denali State Park to get a view of Denali mountain but once again it was overcast so no view at all just clouds!!

So after our non lookout (and the last use of a long drop for the considerable future) we continued on our journey.

After a couple of hours we arrived a Talkeetna where we explored the town, bought some last minute souvenirs and a milkshake and some lunch before jumping in the van again and completing our journey to Anchorage.

When we got to Anchorage we checked into the hotel and then a group of us made our way to one last gift shop to buy our final final souvenirs!! No hoodies this time but a tshirt did jump into my basket!

We then met up with the rest of the group and walked down to the Bridge restaurant for our final group meal, where we had some yummy food including a caramel sourdough bread pudding!! Yummy!!

We then said our goodbyes and I returned to my room to pack my suitcase one last time and go to bed in preparation for my journey home tomorrow!!

Where has that six weeks gone!! I really can't believe it's almost over. I've had the most amazing experiences, seen so many fantastic animals, met some lovely people and made some brilliant friends! And now I am looking forward to going home and catching up with everyone in real life and not just on texts and FaceTime! Watch out guys I'm coming home!!! Well at least I will be tomorrow!!
