Evergreen lodge camping We grabbed a bagel and cinnamon bun and coffee. The coffee had a delicious hazelnut creamer. There is always so much choice in the states it's mind blowing. Even at a simple self serve coffee station we had French vanilla, half fat, full fat, hazelnut, liquid sugar. I was also able to toast my bagel.

Evergreen camping Purple Kale, trout, curried almonds, prunes and a lime dressing with shredded fried sweet potato. I was really impressed with how inventive the chef was being. It's a very conservative little lodge right in the middle of the forest and they are producing these really interesting dishes. I asked for the dressing on the side and when it didn't arrive I just assumed they had mixed it in. But as the salad was so dry I think it was simply forgot...

Evergreen lodge camping Ed had Mexican pasta. It was cooked really well and would be a great dish for a group of men. Damian ate it with Sally and said it was his favourite pasta ever!

Evergreen lodge camping Spicy chicken wings. These had a great spicy kick. Very like the TriBeCa wings in Ranelagh. Served with a buttermilk dressing.

Evergreen camping Divine breakfast here. The Smoked salmon super tasty the bagel was toasted and also soft. Absolutely perfect. The butter here is like whipped salt less butter salt. Not really bothered eating it. I adore eating capers and the red onion was the perfect tiny size. Saved half for lunch and took extra toast from Eds breakfast and made a sandwich too. The portions are so huge here.
