Nomas new Bolivian venture in La Paz, Gustu.
Open only 3 days we couldn't believe our luck when we got a table.
La paz doesn't do fine dining. This restaurant is understated and luxurious.
Greeted by a 6 ft 5 Danish looking man and a 5 ft Bolivian woman. Gustu is a perfect combination of Bolivian tradition and the exceptional cooking talents of Claus Meyer!
It was our first wedding anniversary too so I think I spent the first two courses just beaming. Then the next purring with foodie pleasure.
We chose the 5 course tasting menu with drinks.
Even these crisps and homemade pork scratchings with dipping sauce were crunchy salty divine.
