Writing this with 2 hours to go before the Rugby World Cup final

Lorna not 100% having problems with Gall bladder.

We are living for nearly 3 weeks in a campervan!

However, we have seen Robert everyday since arriving in Auckland; he is working extremely hard and often does not finish work til after 7pm.

He came over to the Boat Club at Stillwater the day we arrived, where we had a tearful reunion followed by a great meal cooked by Dee - great value at $30 (£15).

Friday we explored around Stanmore Bay, Orewa and Puhoi before meeting Rob and Lorna for dinner at Caffe E Cucina near Albany. It is still the whitebait season! Australia beat Wales before the coffee.

Saturday; hardly got going til the afternoon, weather a bit disappointing and L not good. Tried to go to Shakespear Park but shut for pest control - camping with Kiwis (the birds!) put on hold as is barbequeing with Bellbirds. Eventually Dave cooked in the van for Rob and Marje and Robert helped set up the computer with his dongle.

Sunday - Robert's 30th.

Made it to their house for just after 12 noon - lovely space, lemon and olive trees in garden. Just the place for the rabbit, Riley, to have landed on his feet.

Went out for Brunch to Mecca at Devenport; Mesa to share for starters followed by Greek Eggplant for Dave, Steak sandwich for Rob and Salt and Pepper Squid for Marje and Lorna.

Now for the Rugby!
