Our last week in Santiago was spent finishing our last week of classes, organising busses and accommodation and packing. We had seen everything we wanted to so we took it easy on Saturday, which wasn't too bad given it was a freezing day with some light rain, the only rain we saw the entire time. Our last saturday night we did head out for a cerveza, ending up at a little dive bar with perhaps 3-4 other patrons. You can buy whatever you like there, as long as its a 1L bottle of one of about 4 beer selections.

After polishing off 2 bottles, we went for dinner at a Peruvian restaurant near our apartment. Not sure how authentic the food was. Fergus had fried rice with beef and chicken, and Lindsay, noodles with beef and soy sauce.

Up early on Sunday we made our way to the bus station. The daylight savings change had occured overnight, so we were releived that we got the time change correct and didn't miss the bus...
