Well another great day in Calgary! We went to Kensington which is just over the river from Downtown. Had a great day. We went to the comic book store where there was a dr who collectors box only available in the US. I'm tempted to go back and buy it. Then we went and got a real coffee. The guy serving was really friendly and it was funny as he started asking about AFL football teams. Apparently there are a couple of local Aussies that have peaked his interest in the game. then we met Bret's (my local guide) friends David and Sally. Sally is one of the local Aussies the coffee shop guy mentioned! We then went on to check out some other stores and had Vietnamese for lunch. I passed the TARDIS out the front of starbucks! After that we went to a chocolate shop and then a cupcake shop, then a lolly shop and then a honey shop! I couldn't believe the lolly shop had bacon flavoured dental floss, lip balm and even chocolate coated bacon!!!! The next stop was 2nd cup for a chai latte. Then tonight we went to Boston Pizza that's a bit like a chain restaurant with pizzas and pastas etc. we were Sitting in the restaurant when there was an enormous BANG!!! Followed a minute later by another one. Bret's friend James checked it out and it was Thunder!! A big Electrical storm was passing over. Crazy. I'm assured that it was not normal! We then went and saw The Wolverine. Good movie and I made them sit through the end credits to see my friend Levon's name on the screen. So all in all it had been a great day!
