Lake Louise is really beautiful. It was a warm summers day when we arrived so the tourists were out in force. The car parks were full so I had to use the one at the resort. I was very worried as there were no prices posted so we parked and looked at the lake. Magnificent views and then went back to see the exorbitant prices they were going to charge. We were asked if we'd eaten at the restaurant or purchased anything in the shops. When we said no the receptionist gave a funny look and said "well today the parking is complimentary!". Score!!! On the way back down to the town the roadside was flanked by cars illegally parked, overflowing from the car parks!
