FARFRUMWURKEN
We arrived today (Sunday) in Geraldton to 22 degrees F and sunny skies. Unfortunately, I'm going to be missing whatever this Western Australian town has to offer because I'm confined to my bed looking out my porthole window. It seems the other day when I was diving in Komodo, I either badly bruised or cracked one of my right ribs and the pain has been a little intense. I'm glad Deborah had the foresight to bring along some pain medication, knowing me as she does, it's saved me a couple of hundred dollars in on-board medical expenses. I'm taped with bandages around my chest to help with the compression. The girls have all gone off on a tour today so I'm relegated to my laptop which will help me get caught up on emails and my travel blog.
So far we've traveled 4,300 nautical miles from Sydney in 19 days at sea - only 24 more days to go. Thankfully they change the menu in the main dining room daily so up till now there have been no duplications. Renetta, must be one of the casino's best customers as yesterday they sent her a tray of chocolate covered strawberries to thank her for her daily service. It's kind of a blessing that the heat has left us as we head south, down from nearly 100 deg F in Indonesia, the cooler, blue skies make it so much easier to tour. Tomorrow we're scheduled on a tour in Freemantle/Perth with pre-paid tickets, so I'm gonna hobble along the best that I can, I just might be confused with some of the other hundreds of "old" people here on board.
I don't really have any photographs that I can show you for Geraldton, so I thought I'd post some of my favorites to date. Hopefully you enjoy. Again, I want to thank everyone who clicks on that email link, the numbers are climbing.

Bet Reed Renetta6 Had to chuckle at Renetta's casino appreciation for her "daily" service! She and I have contributed to casino profits along the Gulf Coast, in New Orleans, Carnival Cruise, Las Vegas and at Cherokee...but did any give us a tray of chocolate covered strawberries? Comps maybe, but no chocolate...go Netta!
