Last night was our farewell dinner. We went out to Flemings in Turkey Creek and had a tremendous dinner. Beyond that it was packing night as 4:00 a.m. came early. We arrived at the airport well ahead of time and everything went smoothly except that I forgot the two small pocket knives that I had in my checked luggage. After the complete bomb scan of everything else I was given the opportunity to go back to the check-in desk and put them in my checked luggage. ...

We've arrived in Dallas / Fort Worth and it's a clear blue sky with warm temperatures. Thought we'd try to reserve a rental from Seattle Tacoma airport to get us home, but with the one way rental surcharge it gets a little expensive. We don't have any other options at this point so here we come Budget. A quick McDonald's breakfast and we sit here at Gate A11 waiting for our 10:50 a.m. (local time) departure time into Seattle.
