Sea Day – Enroute to Puerto Montt.

Today is Day 25 – only eleven days left to go before we dock in Buenos Aires. Given the captain's weather warning last night of high swells – today has been pretty respectable so far. There’s blue skies and big fluffy clouds, but there are much more white caps on the water than on our whole trip combined. The captain has apparently sped up a little (21knots) to see if we can get into the protected waters of the Chilean fjords – time will tell and I’ll report later.

Deb’s come down with a little stomach flu – so rest has been on the menu for her. From what we hear there are a few of our friends that are feeling a little queasy so maybe it’s something going around. As a result, I’ve tried to stay in the protected isolation of the casino, it seems about the only safe place on board. With the new lot of cruisers that got on in Valparaiso, they don’t yet appear to be the poker players - some of which ended their cruise in Valparaiso – we only had seven people at the poker table today for the 12:30 game – I happened to take second place – I’ll get that b***** tonight.
