Sunday, 27th June

Our direct bus to Cusco that Soloman assured us was the quickest way to go turned into a taxi to the border, another taxi to a main road where the guy we were with kept flagging down buses until one with enough room picked us up! We did make it to Cusco and went out for a lovely pizza and heard that England had lost to Germany so are out of the World Cup!

Monday, 28th June

Had a lazy morning watching the football in an Irish bar, even in Peru. Neither of us realised until we saw the 'Rosie O'Gradys' menu then looked up and the whole ceiling was covered with Irish paraphernalia, good food too. Did the touristy Cathedrals and plazas and had a few games of pool and a Bean Borrito for supper, must make them at home. Found a Cross Keys pub on the walk home.

Tuesday, 29th June

Woken up at 6:20am by some wolly in the room next door yelling to the guy in reception so have moved across the road to a much nicer place, really clean, amazing shower and just loads nicer, even our towels have been folded like a butterfly and swan. Internet works here so caught up on emails and let everyone at home know when we'll be back as Karina has conformed our change of flight.

Wednesday, 30th June

Spent the morning taking photos around the city and had lunch in a tiny cafe down the road where you can spin a wheel on the wall after you've eaten to see if you get something you had for free, we didn't unfortunatley. 6pm bus to Lima, so glad we're leaving tonight and not tomorrow, would be too worried we'd miss the flight.
