Showered, called Jorge who took us to the airport. $31 each airport tax the cheeky b*****s. Gobsmacked Panama is so expensive so we looked into flying to Guatemala or Mexico, $476 each to Guatemala or $780 each to Mexico so have decided to go with original plan and go by Tica bus. The lovely ladies at the tourist info rang the bus station for us and found out that there are seats available for tonight so we got a cab to the bus depo another $33 we'll never see again. Got the bus booked and will arrive in Mexico on the 8th July. Very humid in Panama, very lush scenery and people seem very friendly. Met a guy called James who'd left his passport, bank cards and military ID in a taxi, we ended up lending him some money so he's got somewhere to go until Monday, swapped details so hoping he pays us back.
