Tuesday, 10th November
Oh what a day, we were up early and breakfasted by the time the guys came to get us to take us out to the island. A couple of Ozzie's came too but were just doing the trip, we had half an hour of snorkelling which was pretty good. Then we went to Bamboo island (where we were going to stay), having dropped off the others to have lunch we were taken to Koh Ta Kiev. All I can say is that we weren't sorry for deciding against Bamboo Island, 3 other boats turned up while we had stopped and crowded the beach which didn't look great to start with. Koh Ta Kiev on the other hand only has 5 bungalows on it and there's only one other couple staying here. A beautiful beach and great company, we had dinner with Jamie and Shona who are from Bristol then had a bonfire on the beach, good times.

We are in paradise, slept, read, swam, went for a walk along the beach at sunset, pure bliss.
Thursday, 12th November
We didn't want to leave today so went back with the others this morning on a money run! Fon Fon and the gang took us over on the boat then in his pick up to Sihanoukville. Got some supplies of drinks, money and the all important suncream and headed back, nice to spend some time with the locals. Went for a wonder around the coast to find the Tree House place you can stay in, we almost missed them they're so well hidden. Making use of our 'water shoes' we carried on round the headland and found some beautiful coves. 3 catamarans arrived this evening with 10 guys and girls wo'd been told there'd be room for them, there was only 1 bungalow left!!
Friday, 13th November
A chilled day in paradise, ventured out in the kyak around the island to o some snorkelling, was pretty good, saw lots of jumping fish and huge crabs.
Saturday, 14th November
Walked through the jungle/forest to the other side of the island, saw some pretty big ants, milipeads, turmites and a black and white tucan. The walk was really nice, felt like we really were in the jungle, was about half an hourto the other side where we found a jetty over the sea. We'd come out near the chinease fish farm, went for a swim then back to pack. Felt sad leaving the island with everyone waving us off.
