Friday, 28th May
Driving through Posadas we both realised it would be a waste of time to stay there, straight on another bus to Puerto Iguazu. Stop hostal is nice, has pool table and nice outside terrace, feels quite warm here during the day. Beers and Caprinhias.
Saturday, 29th May
Nice to relax this morning. Went out for lunch and came across the strangest ting on the menu so far, 1/2 a horse with egg! It was only 30 Pesos so don't recon that's actually what it was.
Sunday, 30th May
We walked up to the 3 Frontiers, Paraquay, Brazil and Argentinas borders all visable alongside the river. It wasn't much to look at but still worth a wonder. Tango restaurant for a late lunch.
Monday, 31st May
Woken up at 4am by Lerch, enough is enough we're changing rooms, ended up sleeping in the tv room! Went out to Iguazu Falls which were massive, even though we'd seen loads of photostheyjust didn't do it justice. As the sun came out over the falls with all of the spray it brought up a rainbow right over them, amazing views all day. Most amazing part was the Devils throat just because of the amount of water going into one area but the view over all of the falls was also beautiful. We did the Sendro Macuco walk through the woods and jungle, it was about 2/3 hours out to the secluded waterfall. We saw so many monkeys and an animal that was a cross between a rabbit and a giant guinea pig. Nicest supper, Tom got his steak, which thankfully was as he'd hoped it would be, there was live music too followed by cocktails.
Tuesday, 1st June
There was only one place left on the bus to Rio so have booked it for tomorrow with the comfy cama seats, Tango restaurant for supper.
