Hello all

So we moved to a campsite near Paignton, it was much busier than previous sites, probably due to the glorious sunshine and it being a weekend. We were staying just outside Stoke Gabriel so we walked into the village for a look around - as to be expected, it was a hilly walk but the village was really nice and bustling - some lovely big houses to be nosey at and all on the riverside so very pretty.

We popped into Paignton in the evening but it wasn't the nicest looking place so we went to Totnes instead the next day! Much nicer, with some independent shops to look at.

We'd bought new self inflating mattresses for this trip but they were failing badly so after a bad nights sleep, we decided to come home on Monday!

(we've since taken the beds back and got our money back!)

It's been lovely to be back home, with all the benefits of a comfortable bed, dishwasher, bath, tv ... the list goes on :)

We're home for a couple of weeks and have now planned our next trip - we are going to head into Europe - doing the WW1 sites of Northern France, then down into Switzerland and Austria and back across the Bavarian part of Germany and Belgium - for 4-5 weeks. Hopefully you'll enjoy reading about that too.
