Today we went for a drive with Danika to a nearby town. Steve wanted to take a photo of a plark in a hotel for his girl friend. Her grandad, who is Canadian had fought in the war with the tanks and apparently there was some monument there. After we found it we went for a walk through the streets. I've the flu with sore ears and throat again so I was hoping to find a pharmacy. We found one in the end so I stocked up on panadol and throaties, as you can't just walk into a supermarket or petrol station to purchase them here. I also bought some more body wash and body spray. After that we went and grabbed some lunch at a small cafe. I ordered fries, a strawberry sundae and an apple juice. I struggled to finish my meal, but ate most of it. Then we headed back to Frans and Heidi's. Frans cooked dinner tonight because Heidi went and played some sport and then had a small birthday celebration for someone that she works with. It was his 50th birthday. We had a delicious chicken stir fry for dinner. I haven't had leeks before, but there were some in the stir fry and they were actually not too bad. The chicken was mixed in with a sauce that had a similar taste to satay. Frans has a bit of a sweet tooth and loves his dessert so we had dessert after dinner again. Dessert is a lot more light here and normally consists of yoghurt with big chunks of fruit or a dessert similar to a custard, but a bit different. I opted to have some fruit yoghurt. We stayed up and watched T.V for awhile tonight before heading to bed. We're sleeping on an air bed while we're here, but it's surprisingly comfy. I'm not sure what we're doing tomorrow. Will just see what happens.
