Off at last. We had a good run down to Belford where we stayed overnight. There was an issue with the toilet leaking which was quite a worry! At one stage, we were contemplating missing the ferry and getting it fixed in Newcastle or the more daunting prospect of finding somewhere in Germany. The long awaited travel adventure is nearly here.Packing the camper feels like a cross between packing an enormous suitcase and moving house ,but nearly there now. Tomorrow we are off to Bamburgh, Northumberland and then on to Newcastle the next day to catch the overnight ferry to Ijmuiden. Hopefully a calm crossing.
