The long awaited travel adventure is nearly here.Packing the camper feels like a cross between packing an enormous suitcase and moving house ,but nearly there now.

Tomorrow we are off to Bamburgh, Northumberland and then on to Newcastle the next day to catch the overnight ferry to Ijmuiden. Hopefully a calm crossing. Onwards then across Holland and south through Germany to Bavaria, across the Alps to Austria and into Slovenia. We return along the German Alpine Road and north

through The Black Forest and Rhine Valley to get the return ferry from Ijmuiden.

Whew! Quite a drive. Let the adventure begin .........
