Euro Camping 2018
Travelled on south today to our first stellplatz stop at Ebern, where we planned to stay two nights and take the train into Bamburg the next day. It was a pretty little town where we started to see buildings with the Bavarian style painting on the exterior. The stellplatz was adjacent to a small park where we were able to set up our chairs and enjoy some warm sunshine.
The train left from just next door so we got off in good time to Bamburg the next morning. The old town was lovely, with the town hall set in the middle of a bridge and monastery with its own brewery at the top of the hill overlooking the town. Bamberg is famous for its many breweries and especially a smoked beer so Pete enjoyed sampling a few.
