One of the great philosophers of our time, or Gary Barlow, said something about the Greatest Day of our lives. Epic does not do it justice. Back to that later, had an epic fail the other day. There are times in your life that you know are wasted and that you will never get back, like 90% of the times that you go to Pittodrie for example. I spent quite a while looking for my USB cable for my camera before I left, only to discover that it was in the plug for the battery charger. FAIL!!!!
Anyway (Mr Smith for those who remember him) the rugby was magic last night. Had a good few pints in the boozer before hand, went for a curry and then watched us beat the Georgians. Other things that I can tick off my bucket list are pissing on an England flag and I finally have a ticket for the Scotland v England game. This made me the happiest man in Invercargill last night. Back to the boozer for a few pints with all the lads and lassies that I've met just rounded off a truly brilliant day.
Some of the chants going up at the rugby last night were pretty special too, there seemed to be lots of English there supporting the Georgians. Oh St George can shove his dragon up his arse (good). Tell all the Guffs you know, that we're top of the pool and they're no (very good). and my personal favourite, We don't need to score a try.
If the atmosphere is that good in either Wellington or Auckland, it'll be great.
Take care all.
