LAst night we watched the sunset in our final night in Koh Phangan. We have had a really gd few days there chilling out and relaxing. They also didnt charge us properly so ended up paying alot less than we should have which was really good. We got up this morning to leave at 10 for the boat, it is Thai new year here and on the 13th they have like a massive water festival, the streets are full of kids and adults in trucks, on mopeds and stood on the side of the road soaking every1 with water. We were prewarned to make everything waterproof and it was a good job as we got soaked on the truck drive down to the port!!

The ferry was only 30 mins to Koh Samui and was fine, not bumpy, beautiful blue sea and greate scenery on the way. We then got a mini bus to the airport which was very easy. The airport here is very random, it is like a little village, very modern but all outside kinda. We had something to eat and mike was immediately sick. He hasnt been feeling brilliant the past few days and has had on/off tummy aches etc. But at the airport today he started feeling really really bad so we are now in hospital !!!! An ambulance came to get us and because of new yr the roads were so busy so we had the sirens and lights going which was quite funny as it felt like a real emergency and although Mike felt really bad, he wasnt close to dying!! Anyway we made it here and were told after tests etc that Mike has a bacteria infection in his tummy, so we are in a private room and it is very very nice at this hospital, they really do look after you well. They have rearranged our flights, spoken with our insurance company as guna cost a bomb!! And 4 hrs after arriving here, Mike is already looking and feeling alot better.

So our stop in Koh Samui isnt as brief as first planned! Hopefully he will be discharged 2moro and we need to get accomodation for oine night here as cant fly again till the 15th. So hopefully when I next write, we will be over in Phuket and Mike will be feeling 100% better.

Hey !!!

So we Mike was discharged last night with a hell load of drugs!! Our insurance company paid out so all in all it wasnt a bad trip in hospital, the best HOT shower i will probably have all travelling! We booked a beach hut near the airport as now waiting for our second attempt to fly to Phuket lol. IT has turned out to be on such a beautiful beach, with lots of restuarants and bars near by, so we had dinner of the beach last night and today sunbathed and went on a jet ski which was so good, Mike laughing at my pathetic attempt at trying to turn left or right as was too scared to go quickly!! So he held my hand down full throttle on the straight, but it was really gd and siomething we hope to do again. How embarrasing is this tho...as we brought the jet ski back in i jumped off, water to my knees and prob a gd 30 secs later realised that one of the ties on the side of my bikini had come undone and so was pretty much stood there bottomless, lol, i had to laugh along with a few ppl who also saw on the beach. great!!

Anyways, here is hopefully to a better start again, with no hospiytal visits or accidents!
