Hey!!!!!

So we are in Koh Phangan now !! Its been an eventful few days! I will start from where we last left...we spent the 6th down Khao San Road waiting to catch our bus at 8pm. We were in one bar having food and a couple of chaing beers, when we ended up joining some randon Thai girl with a Canadian guy she pulled off the streets lol. It turned out to be a funny and very random afternoon and ended up with us both pissed (Mike very wasted). The thai girl kept saying 'Love you long time' and high fiving me lol, and telling mike to Piss off!! We headed back to where we had left our bags for the day then had to take like a 10 min walk to our coach down to Koh Phangan, there were 100s of ppl and it was a nightmare, plus with us being pissed it was even worse! We managed to get on the coach and had 3 lads from Bristol infront of us who were a good laugh. The coach was full and it was a bumpy ride the WHOLE way, so we got no sleep. Once we arrived at the boat port we then had to wait 3 hrs, lying on the floor for our boat, by this point we were knackered and pretty disgusting!! We got on the boat at 7am and immediately Mike didnt feel well, 4 hrs later and a really rough sea and mike was spewing over the top deck, hitting the ppl below....nice!!!!

So when we arrived, Mike was feeling and lookin like complete crap, bless him! We had to lug our heavy arse backpacks for a 10 min walk to the nearest bar so we could sit down to get mike a drink and something to eat before he died, lol. I then wandered down the road to find the nearest accomodation possible for our first night as mike needed a bed pretty bad!! We ended up staying in a new hostel, which was a really nice room and both crashed out for a few hrs. We then headed out for dinner as Mike felt a bit better and had pizza, didnt think thai noodles was the best idea as mike was still feeling rough. In the restuarant we met a guy called Alex, a german guy who was in one of the biggest thai kick boxing fights on the island that night, he gave us cheap ringside tickets, so later that night in the pouring rain we walked to the stadium to watch the fight, only to be told at like half 10 that they were cancelling it due to lack of ppl turning up cause of the bad weather!! SO we were abit annoyed but headed back and both had a well needed nights sleep.

The next 3 nights here we had accomodation booked, so got picked up and brought here, we are styaing in Haad Tian Resort which is North West of Koh Phangan and beautiful!! So we were very happy to arrive at our bungalow right on the beach to relax and chill for 3 days as we had been non stop in our first week! The next 2 days tho was like a monsoon, it completlely chucked it down constantly with massive thunderstorms!!! So me and Mike were pretty fed up as couldnt really go anywhere or do anything, so sat in our little beach hut and in our hammock reading a book or watching crap tv! After becoming board of that we headed for the pool as would be wet either way and amused ourselves by having lilo races for an hr!! Yesterday morning we had planned to get a scooter out to explore the island....good idea.....NO !!!! within the first minute Mike cudnt control it and we headed straight for a brick wall, luckily stopping within centermeters!! So we packed that idea in and went for a walk to the next beach instead (mums no need to worry, honest :-) )!!

Last night was the full moon, and after pretty much raining again all day, we werent too sure how gd it was goin to be as within seconds of stepping outside you get soaked!! Anyway, we bought a bottle of vodka, got ready and sat in our bar with a group of others drinking and covering each other in body paint until 11pm when our taxi arrived. I swear ever time we get a taxi it is worse than the one before, lol. 16 of us were in the back of a truck for 8 ppl and it was an hrs drive, i had to half sit on mikes lap while half squating, my first bit of working out since being away and by the end of the journey my legs were burning!!! So after being cramed in and all sweating like hell we arrived down at the full moon, it rained for the first 10 mins then was clear for the rest of the night! I cant begin to describe what it is like, it is mental!! 15,000 ppl all on one stretch of beach and bars along the side, loads of diff music and alot of fire everywhere!! (even a skipping rope on fire with ppl skipping and landed on it!!). There were so many Thai guys selling drugs and SO many ppl on them, mashed out there faces!! PPl passed out in the middle of the beach, falling over everywhere. The buckets here r leathal, a bottle of vodka and one can of coke really gets you wasted pretty quick. We also randomly bumped into the guys from our coach ride down here so there were a big group of us and it was so good. When you looked into the sea there were ppl everywhere pissing in it, including all the girls!! We managed to last until sunset at about 7ish and got back to our beach hut via an even worse taxi at 8am, so am shattered today, Mike is currently in bed!

Me and Mike were thinking of flying to Oz earlier due to the bad weather and a really bad forecast for the next 2 weeks, but it has been really nice today (although raining slightly now) so have been chilling on the beach and by the pool, and although im wearing kids factor 30 suncream, we are both red!!

So all in all we are good, feeling fine and enjoying relaxing and chilling out. We booked a couple of flights as cant face another long coach trip just yet so we are flying to Phuket from Koh Samui on the 13th!! We have more pics to upload so will hopefully do it in the next few days before we leave.

The last 2 days we have just been relaxing and chilling out by the pool and beach with ppl from wheer we are staying. Me and Mike moved bungalows as had the first 3 nigths pre-booked but wanted cheaper for next 2 nights so we have gone from comfy beds, hot water, a/c, tv and a flushing loo to pouring a bucket of water down the loo once uve been, lol, a fan and rock hard bed, which is really what travellers should stay in but the luxury for a few days was good!!

We watched the sunset last night which was really cool then just chilled out and played cards etc with others. We have walked to the next bay along today and the internet is so much cheaper here!! Am going to try and upload some pics now.

Next stop Phuket !!
