Hey All !!
This is a much shorter blog than the rest as only spent one night here!! Our last night in Thailand we spent with Luke and Pete again, the two ozzy guys we met previously on our boat trip. They r really gd laugh and we are hoping to meet up with them in England as they are over there for a couple of yrs soon! We got an earlier night as were up at 8 the next morning to catch our hour and a half ferry back to Phuket.
It was a pretty rough ride again, but Mike still managed to find space on the floor to lye down and fall asleep! Once we got to the port we got in a minibus back to Phuket where we went back to the hostel we stayed at before as the room was really nice (for travellers anyway !). We didnt wana spend hardly any money so didnt do much apart from chill out and take a walk. That night we got food in again from Carrerfour and chilled in our room watching some very cheesy American reality tv show!!
The next morning we had a crazy taxi ride back to Phuket airport to catch our flight to Kuala Lumpar. I thought we were in a rally car!! Anyway we made it, safely AGAIN! The airport was ok but didnt have much there. Mine and mikes bags were 4kg over for our Airasia flight as can only be 15kg, so we had to go and sit down and try and take things out for our hand luggage, we were still over in the end but they let us off as they were going to charge us.
After a 1hr and 15 min flight, we arrived in Kuala Lumpar. We then giot a bus from the airport to the main bus terminal which took about an hr, the whole time Mike was like a nodding dog asleep! We arrived at 7pm and walked about 10 mins to our hostel, its in a rough area but the hostel itself is quite nice and this internet is dirt cheap!
We didnt have much time but wanted to see the Pertonas Twin Towers so we went straight out and got the underground to KLCC. We took a few pics of these but that was about it as didnt have time to see much else. After we went into a massive shopping Mall which had every brand possible and ended up eating in an American Diner, where the food was amazing. It is really cheap here actually. We then caught another train to China Town, which was a big market but by the time we got there they were closing down, so we headed back to our hostel.
Overall, Kuala Lumpar isnt what we imagined, we read it was a modern and futuristic City. The area where the Petronas Towers and shopping centre was was very much like this but the main streets were very dirty and we saw 2 massive rats near our hostel! It also smelt pretty bad in places, lol.
We are flying over to Bali today for 12 nights, then we are over to Oz !!!!!!
Only have a few pics to add of here, but will do soon.

So we finally left Bali after a crap 3 days of Mike having Typhoid! By this point we were ready to leave! We got to the airport at about 6am, checked in and boarded the plane pretty quick. Mike was quite anxious on the flight as still not feeling 100%, about half hour after take off (at about 8.30am) 2 women infront of us ordered rice and curry we made us both want to throw up, so i asked if we could move down the front, as we were pretty squeezed in to. Luckily the front of the plane had lots of free seats so we ended up both laying out with a row to ourselves.
We were both really pleased to arrive back in KL. Once we arrived we got on the same bus to take us to KL central and also stayed at Seria Inn where we stayed last time as was really convient location and a nice hostel (recommended). We dropped our bags off and headed to the big shopping centres, plaza mall is massive, they have a forever 21 there and a topshop!! I got a few new vest tops and a pair of black skinny jeans as I really didnt pack to well for travelling!! And I always am in need of new clothes! We went back to our room after and chilled out for a bit and showered then we headed out for dinner which was really good, Mike was pleased as they were also showing the football!
We got our coach from KL to Singapore this morning at 10am, although we didnt end up leaving untiol gone 11am. The coach was really good, aircon, tv and only 3 seats per row, so big seats that layed back, so we both got some more sleep on the way. Once you get to the Singapore boarder everyone has to get off the coach and go through immigration with just our passports, we also had to walk through a screening which basically was to view our body core temperature for swine flu!!! Good job we didnt go a few days earlier as Mike would have shown up as very red and probably not allowed in the country!! Everyone is wearing masks here aswell! After this we then drove about 10 mins, where we had to get off again and take all our baggage this time to go through like a airport terminal and immigration again, very strange!!
But after all that, we got dropped off somewhere random in Singapore, lol, and got a taxi with another guy to the airport. So we are now at the airport waitin gfor our flight.
Mike is nearly 100% again, but think we will get him a blood test in Oz just to be sure as its contagious and we cant share drinks or anything at the moment!!
Our next blog will be from OZ !!!!!!!!!!!
