22nd June 2009 Well... it seemed me and Mike were a little to over excited about the fact that we had survived rafting with no "major" injuries, and perhaps a little stupid to think that with Mikes track record, such an extreme sport would leave him with no visits to the doctors or hospital!! So you are all wondering 'What the hell has he done now?'...I will explain in a bit! So we got picked up form our hostel in Cairns by a small bus from the hostel...

21st June 2009 Today we went rafting !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ahhhhh, it was sooo good/scary!! We got picked up from our hostel at 6.30 AM !! It took just under 2 hours to get to tully. We stopped for breakfast and drinks then headed for the river!! There was 24 of us today, in peak time there can be up to 100!! So we were lucky as it meant less waiting around! We got kitted up in our lifejackets and shoes etc, which was not sexy at all!! We were then put in groups...

18th June 2009 Howdy! We got to Cairns around lunchtime, its quite a small "city", so we found our hostel easily which is very central. We checked in and dropped our bags off and then took Rupert back to Jucy!! On our second day we noticed quite a big chip in our windoswcreen which luckily we took out the full insurance otherwise it would have cost us about 500 dollars for it to be replaced!!
