Hi everyone I've been in a little place called Dingo! Not that small really though, the Oz experience bus took us here on a overnight stay on our way to Bargara, its a cattle ranch the same size as Belgium! pretty big! It was a highly amusing place to be actually. When we first arrived we were greeted by a cowboy, blue tights which was far too tight, cowboy hat and 'didn't know you could still buy those kinda heels' boots. We all had a go at cracking a whip and throwing a boomerang (both of which I nearly wrapped around my neck) and then we were taken to try to traditional Oz outback Billy Tea (herbal sweet tea) and Damper bread (bit like sponge cake) very tasty! After a quick play on the Digeridoo we were all loaded into a cattle truck (all 40 of us standing) and taken for a tour around some of the ranch which was surprisingly good fun they talked about the cattle and then blew the hell out of a tshirt with a shotgun. After all of that excitement we had a lovely beef dinner - bless the cows - then tried some line dancing! Our room was so bad though it was swarming with insects of every kind - not nice!! I will be hardened to insects when I'm back I tell ya! The size of the 'things' out here..... shudder shudder! Anyways enough blabbing onto Hervey Bay for my 3 day 2 night Fraser Island 4wd trip! YAY! Em xx
