Hi guys in a place called Surfers Paradise now which is in the gold coast & on the border between Queenland and New South Wales. We arrived yesterday in the middle of a cyclone that raged all last night (bit scary at times!) but it finished this morning and the sun is out again... phew. Its very touristy here with lots of theme parks so we might check them out while we're here (till Tues) then we're off to Byron Bay stopping over for a night in the hippy town of Nimbin.... its really nice here and the waves are amazing after last nights rukus!
