4th July 2008: Long travel day from Utila into Nicaragua. Luckily the ferry crossing back was much smoother which was a relief! Catch a bus and spend most of the next 12 hours napping, reading and eating. We arrive in Tegucigalpa, the capital of Nicaragua. Greeted by a cacophony of car horns, hustle, bustle and general chaos. Hotel is nice but our room looks out over the road so am not sure how much sleep we will get above the car horns! Decide the best way to deal with our time here is to go to the mall, indulge in some retail therapy, eat fast food and go to the cinema. Buy ice-cream and popcorn to watch Hancock. Good film but during it I forget where I am - film ends and I have a moment of realisation that I´m not in Plymouth but am in fact in Nicaragua - AARGH!
