15th & 16th June 2008: Spent a couple of days at Plays del Carmen, a beach resort in Mexico. Most bars seem to have swings to sit on rather than seats which can only cause trouble when drink is involved! Relaxed on the beach swimming for the first day. Went to Tulum, some ancient ruins right next to the sea which are very pretty. Sound like a Mexican version of Stonehenge, with the temples aligned to the sun and moonrises in March and September. 14h June 2008: ¡Hola from Cancun! I´ve finally made it here after a whole day´s travelling. Saying goodbye to Simon, Mum and Dad at the airport was hard - I think it only hit me then that I won´t be back for quite some time! Aargh!
